IF Montessori – Programs
The Curriculum

A Continuum of Growth.

From the earliest sensory experiences to advanced elementary research, our programs are engineered to meet your child exactly where they are developmentally.

Infant Program
Ages 0 – 18 Months

Infant (Nido)

We strictly follow the child’s natural interests. In our calm, sensory-rich environment, we provide precise, individualized stimuli to safely encourage their earliest cognitive and motor development.

  • Individualized natural sleeping & feeding rhythms
  • Focus on gross and fine motor skill acquisition
  • Secure, peaceful attachments with certified guides
Toddler Program
Ages 1.5 – 3 Years

Toddler Community

Capitalizing on the critical Sensitive Period of Order. We introduce foundational bilingual vocabulary and practical life skills at the exact developmental window when the mind naturally craves structure.

  • Toilet independence and self-care routines
  • Introduction to the focused work cycle
  • Trilingual vocabulary acquisition (English, Spanish, Chinese)
Early Childhood Program
Ages 3 – 6 Years

Early Childhood

Maximizing the fleeting vocabulary window. We intentionally introduce phonograms and specific points of interest to challenge the growing brain, encouraging the extensive writing and repetition required for mastery.

  • Mixed-age classrooms fostering natural peer leadership
  • Advanced mathematical foundations and spatial reasoning
  • Intensive phonogram mastery and early literacy
Lower Elementary Program
Ages 6 – 9 Years

Lower Elementary

Reading must be intentional, not passive. We ensure all students are reading at or above grade level before second grade, preventing the struggles of the compensatory reading phase that limits traditional students.

  • Cosmic Education: connecting history, science, and the universe
  • Advanced independent research and collaborative projects
  • Transitioning from concrete materials to abstract thinking
